473ml can. Pours a hazy orange-gold with tiny yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces nicely. Aroma of caramel malt, grapefruit, orange and pine resin. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit, grass and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A solid old school Westy.

473mL can, pours an opaque, rusted dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of dark dried fruits, especially figs and dates, with gentle estery notes, and some bready toffee. Flavour is somewhat estery, quite boozy, and moderately sweet, with lots of dark dried fruits, bready toffee, alcohol, and some estery notes. Doesn't taste anywhere near an authentic quad, but there's decent cohesion and yeast expression here. Decent attempt but it's far convincing as an authentic Belgian quad. Good.

473ml can. As Ultradestroyer Imperial Licorice Stout. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, licorice, anise, dark chocolate and molasses. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, anise, licorice, molasses and light coffee in a dry, bitter finish. Medium to full body with a sticky, creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Underrated. Delicious and ABV is well hidden. If you don't like black licorice, don't rate this beer. I'll never understand people who hate a certain adjunct, and then buy a beer with that adjunct clearly displayed in the name and rate the beer poorly because it tastes of said adjunct. Would like to see this barrel aged.

473 ml can. Pours a mahogany color with light head. Aromas of subtle candi sugar, subtle Belgian yeast and bready malts. Subtle continues into the flavor; a bit more sugar and lots of bready malts with a bit of metallics. Base seems good for a quad but overall it needs to be ratcheted up a bit IMHO.

Canned 473ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, heavy licorice in the nose. Roasted malt, light burnt touch, heavy licorice, notes of caramel and alcohol with discreet anise touch.

0.473 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague. Shared with Ogi and him. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Aroma is licorice candy, star anise present, overwhelming, leaving only a roasty touch. Medium body, thick texture, sweet, toasty, roasty, some licorice, some sweetness. Alcohol hidden. No richness. Light finish.

Can from brother pictoman, shared with Ogivlado and Hrabren (huge thanks! Almost pitch black but mostly dark brown body, off-white head. Huge anise aroma, mixing with oily malty notes. Yeah, licorice and anise. Lean, dry taste, licorice, anice, roast and not much else, very watery, some dark malts help along though, interesting stuff , if flawed because of the dry bitter stuff.

Opaque and pale. Not much head. Big fruity, hoppy nose. On the palate, it’s dank, citrusy, nice melon notes as well. Excellent, although I may not know where the riesling is at.

Pale brown with a dull haze to it. Thin head. Aroma doesn’t seem to bring much. On the palate it’s got some sticky malts, mellow dark sugars, little bit of fruitiness. Relatively thin for the style. Ok effort but you can tell this isn’t a Belgian specialist brewery.
