Poured from 650mL bottle @ Weathered 2023. Hazed gold with small white head. Some honey and slightly Bready malt. Inoffensive, but nothing special.

Can from the brewery, through Agatha
Dark brown colour, near black. The dominant character is caramel and burnt sugar, not much depth; good body strength, also hiding the alcohol quite well; some spirit, may be the barrel; a touch of roast in the finish, and some late alcohol warmth.
It's ok, but overpriced.

Can from the brewery, through Agatha
Dark colour, near black. Nice aroma of chocolate, mild rum. It's a bit thin and dry when compared with most Imperial Stouts available nowadays, but it has a good chocolate flavour; the finish is sadly even thinner; maybe a tad metallic too.
Good, but overpriced.

Decent, not spectacular. Coffee is gentle.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with fizzy head that settles quickly. Aromas of rich chocolate and slick roasted malts. Flavors of somewhat vegetal green and roasted peppers, dusty chocolate and roasted malts. Thin for these adjuncts.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown worth moderate head that settles quickly. Aromas of thin chocolate, roasted peppers and roasted malts. Flavours of dark dusty chocolate, roasted peppers and dry roasted malts. Nice hot spicy finish.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with fizzy head that settles quickly. Aromas of dusty roasted malts, some nuts, and salt. Flavors follow same with a bit of plastic and a lot of salt. Base seems light and a lot of salt doesn’t provide much benefit.

Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with small beige head. Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, could use more depth, but it's decent.

16oz @ Ryan's shared with Alex. Appearance: nice brown with a beige head. Aroma: quite similar to the Powder Keg, bourbon barrel, chocolate, light meaty notes. Taste: along the same lines, chocolate, some roasted malt bitterness. Overall: not bad.

16oz @ Ryan's shared with Alex. Appearance: dark brown with a nice beige head. Aroma: barrel, some light meaty notes and chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, a weird mix of the stout, brown ale and quad that doesn't really work well together. On the thin side with a weird roasty bitterness. Overall: meh, I wish it would taste better.
