473mL can, pours a deep dark mahogany / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out the bourbon barrels, dried dark fruits, and toffee. Flavour is rich, with lots of dark dried fruits, subtle bourbon and bready toffee. Rich and fruity. The bourbon is only subtle, accentuating the fruitiness. Excellent.

Can. The aroma is quite fruity, and there's just a bit of toasty malt. On the palate, it's also quite fruity. The chocolate notes and raspberry go together well. The base porter is rich enough to make this work, lowish on the bitterness, and the berry accents are prominent but not unbalanced. Ok, it's a decent beer.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate head that settles quickly. Aromas of dry milk chocolate and roasty malts. Flavours follow same. A bit of nuttiness and sweetness but not really getting the vanilla beans

473ml can. Pours a clear dark brown, almost black with red hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, licorice, dark chocolate, prune, date, molasses and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, licorice, dark chocolate, caramel, prune, date and earth in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium to full body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty, enjoyable and has some complexity.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy dull golden colour. Mild aroma of bread and malt. There's a light flavour of bread and malt too, but it's quite weak, dry, and without much else to offer; balanced bitterness, with a slight herbaceous character, the hop hasn't much to say either.
Not a beer to go back to. Drinkable.

473mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and plenty of sea salt. Flavour is quite salty, with toasted malt, plenty of salt, and earthiness. Too salty, with a dry, earthy finish, but it's reasonably constructed. A bit lifeless and too salty for me. Meh.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold-orange with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready wheat malt, overripe banana, yeast, orange peel, clove and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, caramel, orange peel, vanilla, bubble gum, overripe banana, yeast, clove and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable. ABV is well hidden, making this surprisingly easy to drink.
