Okay gold body and modest foam. Aroma is lemony with slight spicy cereal. Taste is a nice cereal, soft lager hops and honey, finishing crisp. Not bad, an easy approach.

650mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose brings out mostly fermented out honey, with some toasted caramel and bready malt. Flavour is surprisingly lacking depth for a 10% strong ale -- there's fermented out wildflower honey, toasted caramel and bready malt. Light palate, with little depth. Nothing wrong with this; but there's also little right with it. Lacklustre.

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with light foamy head. Aromas of pears and candied citrus as advertised plus bready malts. Flavors of pears, limes, lemon wax, sharp bitter banana skin, and bready malts. Nice

Dark chocolate, good body, but not much depth of flavours, light liquorice. Meh.

2022-01-21, can at Weathered 2022, Vancouver, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Dark colour, almost black. Moderately sweet, good body, dark chocolate flavour, some roastiness, alcohol, light barrel.
It's a bit rough, no much complexity; it's not a winning Imperial Stout, but it's quite powerful.

2022-08-13, can from Jak's, Parkcrest, 7-4-8-4-16=39
Dark brown, looks dirty. Good treacle and caramel flavour, nutty; it doesn't have the malt richness of the best barley wines, and the finish is a bit short; strong alcohol warmth.
Good effort.

Dark amber colour. Slightly more chocolatey than the average Barley Wine, but it lacks depth, and the alcohol is fairly strong; as it goes, it's getting thinner, boozier, less complex by the sip.
Ok beer.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of chocolate nougat, vanilla, soft bourbon and soft roasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on soft oaky bourbon and a bitter chocolate finish. Very good.

473mL can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is cohesive, with gentle bourbon barrels, moderate roast, and a touch of dried fruits. Flavour is much the same, with plenty of bourbon barrel character, moderate roast, a touch of espresso, and light fruitiness. Cohesive and complex; this elevates the base Pothole Filler beautifully. Excellent.

473 ml can. Pours a dark reddish brown with light head. Aromas of brown sugary syrup/treacle, raisins, sweet bourbon, caramel and bready malts. Flavors of sweet toasted malts, raisins, candi sugar, bread crust and just a bit of bittering hops. Quite sweet but still had an edge worthy of aging. Very good, as expected!
