473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy red-orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, pale pink head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of bready wheat malt, blueberry, earthy yeast, cardamom and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, blueberry, lemon, cardamom and floral hops in a dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. An easy drinking fruit beer that is not overly sweet.

Can from The Gull, 1 year old
Amber colour, clear. Moderate, clean malts, a touch of caramel and candi sugar, no true Belgian character. It's moderately sweet.
Doesn't really taste like a Belgian beer, but it's clean and pleasant.

16oz at Alex's. Appearance: clear brown with a tan head. Aroma: sweet dark fruits, a brown sugar, Belgian yeasts. Taste: along the same Iines, lacks a bit of body and depth compared to Belgian examples. Overall: ok.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, some resins, grapefruit rind, and dry bready malt. Flavour reveals earthy hops, lots of bready malt, a little bitter grapefruit, and some resins. Not sticky or sweet at all, just earthy and moderately bitter with a big dry bready malt backbone. It's not the most interesting IPA, but it's competently brewed and quite drinkable. Solid.

On tap at Howe Sound, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of vanilla beans and little else—obviously a darker malt base. Flavour is not very deep, with vanilla bean and light toasted malt. Nice use of vanilla bean. But not a whole lot of depth.
