1L bottle. Spicy malt aroma, light honey , light aromatic hops. Mahagony colour, tanned head, big bubbles. Good malty base, light roast, slight honey sweetness and a proper hop balance. Falls a bit shy in the body department - lacks chewyness in the finish. Nevertheless quite enjoyable.

bottle. Beautiful ruby brown, creamy brown head. Roasted, light sour nose. Lives up to its name, nutty roasted, light caramel notes. Chewy body mellow mouthfeel. Chocolate, roast aftertaste. Quite nice.

WOW!! What a waste of 10 bucks!! An unattractive beer with head fading to nothing immediately. Has a light pumpkin pie spice nose and taste , a few hops in the finish. Lifeless and seriously lacking in carbonation. A piss poor effort

Slightly hazy. More dark amber than copper but that’s splitting hairs - with a loose tan head this beer looks great. Very toasty aroma...vague chocolate/coffee dark malt stuff in there, too. And fuggleish hops, that horrid yoghurty-mossy note. Yeah. Lots of this same stuff - the toast, that same hop character - on the palate as well. That’s two things that I don’t like and they are predominant in this beer. I can’t fault the workmanship of the brew but ultimately success starts with concept. A good idea executed poorly doesn’t work and neither does this - a bad idea (combining two of beer’s laziest, most unappetizing flavour possibilities) done well.
