Description
Established in 2017 producing bottled and keg beers, the brewery moved into cask production in 2019. Originally brewing from his residence, owner/brewer David Hampshaw soon relocated the two-barrel brewery into a taphouse in Penistone town centre. The brewery has been expanded to a five-barrel system, allowing for an increased range, a greater focus on cask ale, and wider distribution. Cans were introduced in 2020. The brewery is named after the highly-prized, local, whitefaced woodland sheep.

Holmfirth 'Last Of The Summer Wine' Tour & Bar Crawl, Beer#15. Hazy yellow-gold in appearance with a session texture to it. Edie was very protective of her clean kitchen tiles in the tv series. Never getting too stated, pine however plays a prominent role in both aroma and taste, but in good measure, making it quite a tasty brew.

Cask at the taproom. Clear dark blonde. Tight white head. This is basically the same beer as Nostromo but that one is double dry hopped and kegged. So similar notes of sweet citrus and pine. Mosaic in here comes over fruity and blueberry-esque. Taste is light bitter. Feels light bodied too. Light bitter and semi dry finish.

Tap, at the taproom. Mostly clear dark blonde. Slim broken white head. Pine and sweet ripe orange. Clean malts. Doesnโ€™t pop, particularly. Taste is well balanced sweet and lightly tangy bitterness. Good depth. Bitter finish. Think the temperature muted the aroma somewhat.
