Bottle at Thyme Restaurant in the Premier Inn in Colchester. Wouldn't normally go near a hotel restaurant, but was staying there with elderly in-laws who didn't feel up to going anywhere further so was stuck here. The restaurant was as dire as I'd expected, but at least I managed to get this unexpected rate (I was surprised that I hadn't already rated it). It's a disturbingly artificial orange colour. It tastes of sweet stewed apple and cheap apple juice. There's a pleasant hint of vanilla but a touch of vomit. It's not great, but it's better than the worst of the macro ciders.

As a fluid, sure, tastes good. As a proper cider, improvement necessary.
