09/10 0.568 l bottle from the English store, Antibes. It poured copper body with medium sized head that went down fast. Fresh apples aroma, but flavor was bit worse, quite industrial and a bit winy. Not something bad though. Medium body with shorter mouthpickering apple finish. I liked the perry much more, but this it better than most of British industrial ciders, at least those major, I’ve tried. Worth drinking for sure.

09/10 0.569 l bottle from the English store in Antibes. Seems it’s a new product. Cool. It poured very pale yellow body with medium head that typically went down fast. White wine aroma with some pear or sweet yellow crumbly apple and some farm stale notes. Flavor is better, some fresh pears, sweet, slightly sourish with medium body and longer pleasant finish. May be a bit industrial but it’s pleasant and nothing more can be expected from an industrial perry. At contrary.

Bottle 568ml. Clear light yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate sweet pear, pear, pear syrup. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to lively. [20090718]

0.33L bottle, light orange colour with lots of pinkish taints, extremely strong carbonation. Aroma of apple some yeast and winey notes, quite dry with a light appley sweetness and some unidentifiable funkiness. short aftertsate living nothing behind it. Not to bad but quite mediocre.

Bottle at Nailcote Hall, Warwickshire. Bought for me by my colleague as nothing else was worth drinking/rateable. Orange gold with no head. ARoma of commerical cider, some apple flesh. Bit of sweet peach flavour. Some apple juice on finish. No real tannin or character. Not as sweet as I feared, but that may have been the ice. I drank it.

Bottle tried some of Jacob’s at breakfast in the bankers draft sheffield. Not that experienced in ciders. Dominating pear flavor and aroma, a bit artificial though.

$1.50 tick from New Beer. Pint glass pour. BB: 20/10/10 :P "Ingredients list: Hard Cider, sugar, malic acid, sulfites to preserve freshness, colours added, lightly carbonated." No shit this stuff has colors added. Looks almost peachy coming down. Color is what you’d imagine if you made mimosas with orange soda. A very bright & clear fake rub in tan/amber. Shy head. Smell was acid, sugar, leaves & husk. This was a top enclosed six pack. It gets a +1 in aroma for not making me vomit. Taste is a very nondescript apple-ish... drink. A touch of rot, but more unusual pronounced flavor of gum. Band-aid. Something like wheat. The alcohol almost takes charge. Weak sulfites... rawr... pussies. Moderately carbonated, fictitious, dry & uninspiring.

Large bottle labeled Magners original. Pours with hardly any noticeable carbonation or head. Pale gold color. Aroma of vinegar, skunk, light bitter apples. Taste is sweet with vinegar and manure, not pleasant. Balsamic notes, CO2 and hard water. Light but noticeably artificial carbonation. Very marginal cider.
