Golden, leicht rötlich im Glas. Fruchtiger Sekt in der Nase. Herber Einstieg, deutlich alkoholiger als die angegeben 4,5 % erwarten lassen. Die Fruchtaromen brauchen eine Sekunde um sich zu entfalten. Ab dem Mittelteil wird es vergoren medizinisch - erinnert an Erdbeeren, die man besser vor 4 - 5 Tagen hätte essen sollen. Das Etikett gibt an, dass hier 17 verschiedene Apfelsorten verwendet wurde - gilt „Verfault“ als eigene Apfelsorte? „Since 1935“ steht außerdem auf dem Etikett - ein paar der verwendeten Äpfel sind offenbar noch aus dem Gründungsjahr. Weil ich in den Geschäften kaum noch Biere finde die mich interessieren bewerte ich inzwischen auch schon Cidre. Das ist bis jetzt der Tiefpunkt. Das ist das Aldi-Bier in der Plastikflasche unter den Cidres. Noch trinkbar - aber irgend eine Art von Genuss kommt da nicht wirklich auf.

Draught at Lauter, clear darkish red, dark fruits, feral hints, quite sweet. Surprisingly nice.

Appearance: Clear straw yellow with a one finger tall white head of low retention. Aroma: Overripe pears, slight funk, vinous notes. Taste: Medium dry. Not intense. Overripe pears, slightly vinous. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: Better smellin than tasting.

--Bottled, thanks Sundebys! -- Clear pale golden, small fizzy head. Straightforward apple aroma. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Ripe sweet apples. Some apple skins. Low bitterness.

33cl bottle at Megastar. Pours clear, pale straw coloured with a fast dissipating, white head. Mild aroma of pears, rather sweet and somewhat watery. Drinkable, but not much to write home about.
