Description
Based on a busy working farm in the picturesque village of Bradfield in the Peak District, Bradfield Brewery have gone from milking 100 cows a day to brewing over 100,000 pints of beer a week! The brewery sprung to life with completion of its first Brew on 26th April 2005 and the brews have carried on flowing ever since.

Trivia: As the family had enjoyed 2 generations of farming at Watt House Farm and not wanting the cows to feel left out, some of the beers are named after breeds of cattle.

Cask at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a dark ruby with brownish hints. Has a small cream head with good lacing. Malts and cream in the aroma. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with a creamy texture. There’s a fair sprinkling of traditional hops in the flavour, plus hints of ginger. Later some fruitiness, caramel and malts can be detected. Finish is quite bitter. Pretty decent, though I would call it more a bitter than a brown ale.
