50cl bottle from my local Co-op, labelled as Organic Ale. Gold with a thin ring of white head; aroma of stale hops; honeyed sweetness and malt flavours with well balanced green hops.

Bottle from Co-op. Amber coloured with no head but moderate carbonation.Aroma of burnt sugar with some honeyed pears. Sweetish malt flavours, with some grassy hops and a big, bitter finish. Certainly not boring, but the bitterness and sugar clashed a bit for me.

Medium white head. Pale yellow body. Dry papery honeyish aroma with mealy notes. Dry papery honeyish malty tea taste. Thin-bodied with lots of in-mouth carbonation. Dry papery golden hoppy honeyish aftertaste with earthy notes. A bit strange, but OK. (0.5l bottle, Co-op, Ballycastle, Ulster.)

Biggish offwhite lasting head. Hazy copper brown body. Roasty malty wooden medicinal aroma with nutty sugary notes. Dry nutty medicinal malty taste with wooden tea notes. Light-bodied and clean. Dry minty aftertaste. Nice, but a bit on the light and boring side; could use more complexity. Could do without the sugar, too, to give it more body. (0.5l bottle, Co-op, Ballycastle, Ulster.)

Bottle, Co-Op, Hoylake. Pours Golden, with dissipating thin white head. Honey and slight lemon aroma. Honey is not too overpowering and strikes a nice balance with the hopiness. This is a solidly refreshing if uninspiring number which honey lovers should dig.

Bottle pcked up by Loz for me from the Co-op in Headington, Oxford 02-05-07. Poured a very light golden colour not too much of a head but what there was, was white and fast dissapearing. Aroma was slighly malty but honey although slight could be detected. Tasted quite crisp and refreshing a real nice summers day beer, the honey was there but it was quite delicate and didn’t make this beer oversweet in any way. Not bad at all!

Bottle. Deep straw colour with a short lasting white head. Complex aroma, with clear signs of honey and malt, and some hops. Flavour is initially dominated by the honey, but this then gives way to a pleasant bitterness before leaving an aftertaste of more honey. Very nice indeed.
