Box @ Fighting Cocks, Oakengates. Pours a clear bright pink. Aroma of red berries, rhubarb. Clean, light, markedly sweet assortment of rhubarb and red berries. Simplistic, fruit cordial-like with barely any alcohol presence. Fine I guess.

500ml bottle shared with Soph @ Beer Emporium, Sandbach. Pours a clear deep gold, fruity nose, moderately sweet. Taste presents a good crisp medium dry, nicely balanced, distant woody notes, lightly stewed apple fruit sweetness. Pretty decent.

Box @ Floodgate Alehouse, Stafford. Pours a generally clear pale purple. Sweet blackthorn / dark berry aroma. Taste is quite pokey, quite sweet, quite a prominent sloe character, lots of blackthorn, berries, slick on the palate with a sharp tang. Ok but perhaps a bit too sweet for me.
