Cask at the bumble inn Peterborough. Black colour with a thin head. Aroma is malty and sweet as is the taste. Medium body.

On cask at the Red Lion jdw, Doncaster. Admins, please note, it may be the same beer as the Jolly Porter as it's the same abv and style. Thin creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Lots of chocolate.

28/2/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed! Pours dark gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, pine, caramel and malt biscuit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Easy drinking, pretty (jolly) good.

500ml bottle from Brooke's Richmond. Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and mellow citrusy hop aroma. Taste is malty, marmalade, citrusy hop with some light earthy bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
