Description
In the quaint little village of Cromwell, in the heart of Nottinghamshire nestles our modest brewery. Run by husband and wife duo, Ken and Fran Munro, true connoisseurs in craft ale with a motto for quality over quantity, we brew the finest, most flavoursome ales every time. We keep our base recipe simple using the four traditional ingredients hops, malt, wheat and water and have won numerous awards since opening our doors in 2004.

We supply cask and bottled beers to pubs, farm shops and breweries up and down the country. Brewing 5 days a week, we have a varied selection of ales, whether itโ€™s a blonde you prefer, citrussy pale ales, red or amber bitters right through to porters and stouts we have something for everyone.

Cask at the Tiny Tavern. Hazy golden colour with a white head, Aroma and taste are slight citrus and tropical fruity. Medium body.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel JDW Ashford Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Some pine some resin very light though. Hides abv well by not really doing anything. Light hop sting on the finish. A bit meh. Nothing wrong just not a whole load of right either.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A pale amber pour with a tight white head; barley sugar aroma; chewy grainy body; then a sweet finish countered by some traditional hops. Enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned at the Posset Cup (JDW), Portishead 4/10/2024. Golden in colour, with a slight haze and off-white, head. A touch of lemon and tangerine fruits, light maltiness, grassy hops and a moderately dry finish. Good.

6/9/2024. Cask at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours cloudy dark orange gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is orange, straw, citrus, stone fruits, light herb. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Bitter citric finish. Didnโ€™t look great but was okay.

6/9/2024. Cask at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is malty, toffee, biscuit, fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, soft carbonation. Quite decent.
