Description
Founded back in the Summer of 2013, Beer52 was inspired by a motorcycle road trip that our founder, James Brown, took with his Dad. Stopping at breweries in Belgium along the way, he found his love of craft beer. He set out to visit a new country every month in search of the best beers, his friend Fraser jumped on board for the ride and since then Beer52 has become the world's most popular beer club.
Beer52 didn't become the UK's most popular craft beer club for nothing - we got to where we are by giving beer drinkers the best damn beers on the planet. Our resident beer experts have visited breweries all around the world, in the search of the most interesting brews they can find. We deliver a carefully curated case of these craft beers from our favourite microbreweries every month.

Bottle from Beer 52. It pours hazy golden orange with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, quite bright, mango smoothie, passion fruit, papaya and custard creams. The taste is dry, bitter, tart tropical vibes, mango, passion fruit, papaya, pithy, zesty, light tannin, some rawness, green hops, touch of green veg fruit smoothy, some creaminess and lingering spice through the finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Tastes doesn't live up to the aroma. Fruity, but just a touch harsh also. Decent enough.

Bottle shared in London - ta Fergus. Pours clear honey-gold with a frothy white head. Decent, plenty of semi-ripe citrus fruits, dry pale malts. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish, lightly warming, soft oily pine, melon, rindy citrus. So so.

33cl from the Beer52 box for August. A hazy amber pour with a fast-fading translucent head; light tropical fruit aroma; stronger taste with a definite hit of tangerine; and a pleasant spicy bitterness; then a long pithy orange finish. Nicely fruity.

33cl bottle from the Beer52 box for July. A slightly hazy amber pour with a thin white head; light herbal aroma; much stronger herbal taste with some rosemary and orangey citrus; then a dry fruity finish with a touch of juniper. Pleasantly sharp.

Hazy golden beer, thin white head. Light smell of hoppy citrus. Taste is orange, hop, grass. Sharp and dry but it doesn't taste as strong as it is and so it could be pretty dangerous. Nice, tangy IPA.
