Description
Founded back in the Summer of 2013, Beer52 was inspired by a motorcycle road trip that our founder, James Brown, took with his Dad. Stopping at breweries in Belgium along the way, he found his love of craft beer. He set out to visit a new country every month in search of the best beers, his friend Fraser jumped on board for the ride and since then Beer52 has become the world's most popular beer club.

Beer52 didn't become the UK's most popular craft beer club for nothing - we got to where we are by giving beer drinkers the best damn beers on the planet. Our resident beer experts have visited breweries all around the world, in the search of the most interesting brews they can find. We deliver a carefully curated case of these craft beers from our favourite microbreweries every month.

Bottle big thanks to Andy. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, crisp, slated lemon, cream soda, somewhat green, herbal and woody accents. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, bright lemon sherbet, salty, seltzer, grapefruit, light spice and cracker. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, bright and drinkable. Not much depth, but enjoyable anyhow.

33cl bottle from the Beer52 box for July. A cloudy amber pour with a weak ring of white head; subdued fruity aroma with a trace of peach; immediately bitter in the mouth with unripe citrus fruit and some sharp herbs, followed up by some sweeter peach; before the bitterness firmly reasserts itself. Not really what I was expecting.

Bottle shared at CBC CG. Thanks to Andy! It pours clear amber with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, oily, bready malts, orange sponge cake, marmalade, toffee and earth. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, toasty grain, wood, leather, light spice, bread, varnish, grass and some alcohol warmth with a drying, woody finish. Medium body and fine to moderate carbonation. Well rounded and nice example of the style.
