Forced into having a bottle here as a medical emergency meant the line cleaning was not finished yet. Golden-blonde out of its glass container and it's a light carbonated lemony-citrus lager in both its aroma and taste.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden amber with a small frothy off-white head and good lacing. There’s malts and caramel in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off sweetish but quite quickly becomes more bitter. Flavour has traditional hops, malts and autumn fruits, with hints of lemongrass and berry fruits. Some sweetness returns in the finish. This is reasonable – walks a tightrope between sweet malts and bitter hops.

Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2026, Beer#19. Deeper golden coloured brew, excellent body and hop-malt balance - one for those who enjoy a bit of bitterness alongside a flavoursome hop.

Third of a pint in my local Spoons on Sunday 8th March 2026. Bright deep golden body, snow white crown on top. Proper decent Bitter, good balance with a decent malt base for the hops to blend with, nice!
