Little Critters Brewing Co.
Microbrewery in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England 🏴
Established in 2016
Late 2015 we found a unit in the Kelham area where we knew the water was good and immediately felt at home. Cold Room built, drainage plinth sorted, Dave Porter supplied and fitted the kit – we started our adventures in brewing beer.
As per plan within a short period of time we took on an experienced brewer. This was followed by us taking on a full time sales and delivery person. We’ve continued to grow the business with new processes, new kit, more people, new recipes and now have a stable 10BBL plant with a great team.
With great folk working for us at the brewery we continue to learn everyday. We’re passionate about making beer and try to retain the home brew spirit of experimentation and fun. We really appreciate the feedback we’re getting from our growing customer base and looking forward to a return to growth over 2021.

Hand pulled pint at the Imp & Angel, Lincoln on 28th November 2025. Brown with a lasting off white crown. Earthy, nutty and malty at first, the hops kick in and the beer becomes more like a traditional English Bitter.

Victorian Craft Beer Cafe Back In Black Beer Festival 2025, Beer#5. Near black, best described as dark-malty candy as its sweet, but not quite in the traditional sense, it feels like it's taken a detour through a sweet-shop first! Easy enough, but this did follow a 12% beer so most would in the palate after that! So didn't find regular coffee or walnut in here.

I saw this black good-looking stout on at the recent Sheffield CAMRA Beer Festival, but decided to pass on it as my instinct said I'd find it elsewhere on my travels. My instinct hasn't let me down, with the beer's chocolate best in aroma, second best in aftertaste, but understated in its initial sup. It's also got a slightly weak body, but decent overall if pressed for a one-word description.

In Bavaria it's Allerheiligen today - a state holiday, so a Bavaria named beer to celebrate their All Saints Day. Fruity aroma with apricot prominent, decent in taste too, in a clean texture, and looks good too.
