Little Critters Brewing Co.
Microbrewery in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England 🏴
Established in 2016
Late 2015 we found a unit in the Kelham area where we knew the water was good and immediately felt at home. Cold Room built, drainage plinth sorted, Dave Porter supplied and fitted the kit – we started our adventures in brewing beer.
As per plan within a short period of time we took on an experienced brewer. This was followed by us taking on a full time sales and delivery person. We’ve continued to grow the business with new processes, new kit, more people, new recipes and now have a stable 10BBL plant with a great team.
With great folk working for us at the brewery we continue to learn everyday. We’re passionate about making beer and try to retain the home brew spirit of experimentation and fun. We really appreciate the feedback we’re getting from our growing customer base and looking forward to a return to growth over 2021.

On cask at Old Poet's Corner, Ashover - Slightly hazy yellow body, thick white top. Got hits of tropical fruit, not very grassy, but well rounded and big bold flavours. A real guzzler this one.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby (at 4.5%). Pours almost black with a small tan head. The aroma has a strong burst of lactose plus some underlying roasted malts. In the mouth it is decidedly sweet with a creamy texture and flavours of malts, vanilla and chocolate plus hints of coffee. Some cola comes through later but the finish is still very sweet. This is decent, but rather too sweet for my liking.

Cask at Ribs Of Beef, just a pub in Norwich city centre, no beef needed to be consumed. Black with a small light-brown bubbly head. Its vanilla is heavy and tasty, aromatic, and lingers long. It's a dark ale without much dark character, but this matters little as it's good.

Bob Monkhouse sang the theme tune to 90's comedy You Rang M'Lord, in a very authentically fruity 1920's style. This is a modern fruity authentic beer. Clean, easy strength with its hops providing the light citrus flavours.
