Bière achetée aux Vins Gourmands. Robe dorée trouble aux reflets brumeux, mousse blanche fine mais éphémère. Nez franc sur les agrumes, avec une belle dominante de pamplemousse et quelques touches fruitées légères. En bouche, c’est une IPA bien fruitée, portée par des notes citronnées et résineuses. Pas la rondeur ni le velouté typique d’une NEIPA, mais un bel équilibre, agréable et rafraîchissant. Une IPA fruitée et bien faite, qui se laisse boire avec plaisir.

330ml bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazed orange, thin receding white head. Aroma brings some mango puree, no coconut. Flavour profile is lightly tangy, gose-like with moderate mango presence, no coconut. So so.

330ml bottle from Brasserie Chromatique. Misty blonde appearance, good white head. Gentle hop breeze on the nose, pale malt. Medium bodied, light herbal citrus hop presence, pale malt with slight yeasty notes. Straightforward blonde.

75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours a misty deep gold, good white head. Aroma brings an indistinct barrel influence, not jumping out as whisky necessarily. Fairly sweet imperial saison base, with again a strange sweet barrel influence that isn't quite bourbon for me, perhaps some herbal botanical elements, sweet saison yeast. Not quite what I expected.

Clear beige to light orange beer, big creamy irregular white to off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: funky, weird, a bit oxidized, pretty fruity, more oxidation notes, herbal touch, and pretty floral as well. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very earthy, malty, a bit sweet, alcohol, more alcohol, very herbal bitterness. Aftertaste: alcohol, sweet touch, more of that herbal bitterness.
