Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#3. Not quite fully black, but looks it. Smooth and dryish tasting, with an almost keg style crisp silkiness. In a similar way to keg ales of this ilk it's texture usurps taste with a palatable general dark-maltiness, and some sweetness about this.

Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#17. Very mildly hazed light golden coloured brew. It's quite stated in its tropical fruit regardless of its clearly session style texture. There's plenty of aroma in this respect too.

Stockport Beer Festival 2026 Beer#18. Dishwasher golden coloured and very hazy in this respect, but it does exude plenty of tropical fruit in both aroma and taste, improving its slightly dryish texture to very acceptable levels.

Cask at The Queen's Head, Acton St, Ldn. It pours lightly hazy bright pale.golden with a small white head. The aroma is tangy marmalade sandwiches on white bread, orange sponge cake, bread and biscuit. The taste is dry, touch bitter, pithy, zesty, loads of orangey citrus, tangerine, kumquat, orange blossom, slightly waxy and soapy with a drying, zesty finale. Light+ body and fine carbonation. Aroma is more muted than the taste. Decent orangey session ale.
