To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.

The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.

Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Moved to a much larger site in Greenwich in 2021 running down the Bermondsey operation and closing it within a couple of years.

250ml. can. @home, 31/01/2023 [#5.773 Global - #579 England - #5 Brew By Numbers] Viscous black with a mid tan head. Aroma: hazelnuts, dark malts and dark chocolate. Taste: strong hazelnuts and roasted malts. Just a touch of salted caramel. Oily mouthfeel. Next one please!

Tap at bermondaey tap room. An opaque black brown coloured pour with a halo of MIS tan head. Aroma is big woody coffee, sticky brown sugars, earthy, cocoa. Flavour is composed of medium sweet ,brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate cake, boozy cake.biacuot. palate is medium sweet, sticky , oily, mellow carbonation.

Tap at the brewery tap in bermondaey. A light heazed yellow straw coloured pour with a small white head.. aroma is mellow funk, green hop green apple, hint of Brett, yogurt, loose wheat, . Flavour is composed of straw, grass, loose wheat, green apple, light funk clove, green apple, straw, grass. . Palate is light grainy, moderate carbonation. Little loose.

Tap at the brewery bermondaey. A translucent golden yellow straw coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is nice weed, straw, green hop, hedgerow hop, light cit grass. . flavour is composed of earthy bready grains, hedgerow hop, weed, light mineral . Firm grassy bitterness. Palate is grains, straw, flint, moderate fine carbonation.
