CBJ Staff Training. Bottle. Opaque-hazy dark brown. Thin foamy light beige head. Aroma is very spicy. Flavourwise it has spice and underlying coffee. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hmmm..

Bottle at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A light hazed orange brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, toasted cinnamon, clove, brown sugars, alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky brown sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange rind, cedar wood.. Palate is medium sweet, oily fine carbonation. Alcohol.

Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a light beige cap.
Nose is caramel, pumpkin pie, fruit esters, herb.
Taste comprises pumpkin, coffee bean, spice, fruit rinds, toasted brown sugars, vanilla.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent mellow sipper, likely one of the highest SHV style beers I've raked.

On my third flight of three beers, 18th April 2026, OC Local Taproom. Clean and clear amber with a red hue, off white top. Interesting Mexican style dark lager, slightly more malty than hoppy and leaning towards a Dunkel type sweetness in the finish.
