500 ml bottle, thank you tfontana. Aroma shows soft cinnamon, toffee, prune. I can’t find bananas any place. Banana as an adjunct it just dies very quickly. Just a sweet barely wine.

Bottle pour from Total Wine & More, W. Hollywood. Opaque black, thin cap/ring of head, nice viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong berry, cinnamon over vanilla granola. Taste is strong huckleberry jam, vanilla, light cinnamon; late, faint bourbon. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Superb huckleberry pie. Bourbon is restrained, which is only fault. No quibbles otherwise and nice persistence of adjuncts.

500 ml bottle, thank you tfontana. Aroma is soft vanilla, blackberry, blueberry. I think it has been 22 years since I had huckleberry pie. This does resemble the pie. Jammy character with just a weak hint of barrel in the finish. Thick, full body. Real good!

Black colour, small head. Aroma is minthe and chocolate. Some syrup and alcohol. Flavour is syrup, alcohol and some minthe, chocolate and mild spiciness. Quite nice.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Nose has tons of butterscotch, rum barrels, vanilla, caramelized sugars, and dark dried fruits. Flavour is rich, with tons of sticky brown sugar, butterscotch, soft rum barrels, caramel, and dark dried fruits. Complex, integrated and well-rounded. Excellent. The first excellent new Bottle Logic I’ve had in a while.

Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Dark oily brown. No head. Aroma has booze, dark fruits, chewy dough. Flavourwise it has chewy dough and molasses with a boozy (barrel aged?) streak. Spice. More booze. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Yum.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, fairly light bodied, a light carbonation. Light bodied sweetish chocolate malts. A pleasant light ice cream rum and raisin. Light smooth finish. Mild alcohol spice. Nicely done. Concept delivered with aplomb.

Bottle from the brewery. Dark brown. Thin head. This has a deep fruity aroma, lots of it, dates and figs and plums and stuff. On the palate, there's definitely a lot of butterscotch, and some vanilla, but those are cutting across the fruity, juicy barrel-aged barley wine. Golden raisins. This is really good - like okay the base is juicy, herbal, the butterscotch cuts across, the vanilla adds a little nuance.

Nose is decadent chocolate shavings, molasses, niff of rum barrel, light spice.
Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar melt, toffee fudge, mellow barrel.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a rising boost offered.
Solid.
