0.5 l heavy bottle from Ambasada, Zagreb. Shared with Ogi and Marko. Dark brown, oily, minimal head. Aroma is ethanol at first, solvent, roasty malty and burnt. Hints of nuts, licorice and molasses. Flavour is much lighter and less harsh, chocolate, vanilla, some oak, molasses, almond and Irish cream. Smooth, gentle, round. Finishes somewhat sweet.

Oooh, that’s very tasty. Really does bring to mind an apple crumble cake. Sweet, quite sweet, perhaps not quite cloying. Nips of cinnamon and dry caramel. Toasted malts. Stewed apples. Cake, crumble, cinnamon. Some creamy vanilla. Warming finish, sweet, lightly sticky. Great fun overall. A very nice small-dose sipper.

Big and sweet, sugary dark malts, stewed fruits, cookie batter, soft roast, booze, maybe bourbon, faint earthy bitterness. Warming finish, lightly sticky. Enjoyable in moderation.

CBJ tasting, thanks to
Wingman for the bottle. Near clear dark amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy smooth palate, soft fine carbonation. Soft caramel and cream malts. Good sweetish ripe fruits, not that obviously apple, but certainly a foothold there. Airy smooth finish. A great intensity but still, very drinkable

CBJ tasting, thanks to me for the Bottle. Opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived tan head. Smooth palate, mildly viscous, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft dark malts, a decent creamy dark chocolate. Big boozy pineapple liqueur, ripe pineapple. A little coconut and ripe mango. Airy smooth finish with a little alcohol spice. I was slightly concerned about how a tropical fruits Impy would work. Well, I should not have worried, it's rather good. The chocolate and tropical fruits work well. Very well.

Dark brown. Thin head. The aroma is big cinnamon, lots of chocolate. On the palate, it's got nice and brown sugar, light vanilla, marshmallow, with a good chocolate and alcohol base. Sweet, with some quality.
