Can at ZZT. Hazy light golden with white head. Light green onion, mango, pineapple, sweet orange, light malts. Just massive fruit juice with a soft touch of malt. Bit over medium sweet and just medium bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Great!

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours hazy orange juice in appearance with a white head. Citrus and stone fruit aroma. Flavor is juicy, somewhat dank citrus. Dry for a juicy ale, and pretty bitter! This is really good stuff. Why IPA and not DIPA? BL website listed it as IPA.

At Hopishop 2017. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and biscuit. Taste has chocolate, biscuity dark malt, bourbon vanilla, caramel, mocha, some booze and a long rich finish. Bottle Logic is killing it.

At the B.U.M.B.A. event in Antwerp, thanks to Scott Dudha for sharing... Bourbon barrel aged Californian cocoa nib and vanilla stout with thin, pale greyish beige, quickly opening head and very dark chestnut brown robe - near to black, with mahogany edges. Aroma of caramel sauce, marzipan, vanilla beans, bourbon, dried coconut flesh, milk chocolate, candied figs, old raisins, dry leather, coffee cream. Sweet and sourish onset, bit umami, fig and dried banana, softish carbo, slick, oily mouthfeel. Very hazelnutty maltiness turning into bitter black chocolate and toast, but the almond- and coconut-like sweetness lingers till all the way at the back, where it becomes reinforced by the sweetishness of the bourbon; the vanilla is accompanied by retronasal oak and prickling, spicy hop bitterness provides a late 'punch' while the alcohol, though warming, remains proportionally 'calm' and soothing rather than agressively burning - even at near 14% ABV... Very sweet, overly strong modern American 'impy', but highly recommended to anyone who likes this style - including myself. I need to find more from this brewery...
