Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is orange peel and coriander with a slight fruity ester. Flavor is again more of the orange peel and coriander with a dull grain. Not a big saison yeast ester came through and I got no ginger at all but the coriander and orange peel really came out. Not the best saison but definitely not the worst.

50cl bottle via trade in Brussels. Anno 2016.

Clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: oh yeah, wow! Very complex! Deep dark chocolate, lots of cinnamon, sweet and sugary notes, caramel, some dried fruits, soft roast, more chocolate. MF: soft to practically no carbon, thick full body. Taste: sweet, caramel, sugary, milk chocolate, lovely stuff! Some chillies, bit fruity, dried fruits. Aftertaste: lots and lots of cinnamon, caramel, chocolate, crème brûlée, lovely stuff!

500 ml bottle at home. Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, bourbon - alcohol, wood, some dark dried fruits and some spicy notes. Taste is heavy sweet and moderate to light bitter like aroma but even better. Full silky oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle, shared with Matt. Pours oily inky black with a small tan head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is rich, loaded with bourbon, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is pretty sweet, light plus vanilla. Really well integrated barrel and lots of vanilla, but somehow not overpowering the rest of the roasty, cocoa forward beer. Full body, oily creamy mouthfeel. It would be basically impossible for this beer not to be overhyped, but at least it is a really great example of a BA vanilla stout. Super glad I was able to hunt one down.
