Description
Classic infusion brewed beer from @SheffieldTap, and decoction brewed beer from @TappedLeeds.

Established in 2012, making use of newly renovated space in the Sheffield Tap. The Tapped brewery is a 4BBL (Brewers Barrel) kit. The Hot Liquor Tank, Mash Tun, Underback and Copper are all insulated and copper clad. There are two 2000 litre closed conical fermenters behind the brewery, these allow us to brew the same beer on two consecutive days and ferment them in the same vessel. The fermenting room to the side of the brewery houses a further four 1000 litre fermenters for single brews.

Keg at Sheffield Tap. It pours hazy amber with a medium white head. The nose is berry, blackcurrant, light citrus, creaminess, hay and honey. The taste is zesty citrus...orange, grapefruit, blackcurrant yoghurt, dough and brown bread with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Perhaps a touch too malty for this style, but a solid brew nonetheless.

Euston Tap. Keg. Pretty hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with fine stinging carbonation. Thin creamy malt. Minerals. A little fruity hop, again that fruits of the forest flavour from this brewery but kinda expected from Bramling X. Little citrus. Finishes dry with mild bitterness coming in. Another sweetish but very drinkable beer from this new brewery.

Euston Tap. Cask. As โ€™Bullet IPAโ€™. Almost clear amber - gold beer. Good white head. Palate is light and smooth, just a little fine carbonation. Thin creamy malt. Nice fruity hops, mild but tasty. Mild forest fruits with a touch of sweet apple and generic fruits, some of this could be sweet yeast perhaps. Finishes smooth and fruity with a little dry bitterness kicking in. Good stuff - very drinkable.

Medium sweet flavor with moderate bitterness, more ripe and sweet citrus, some piney hops, doughy bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation.
