Cask,half pint at Alexandra Beer House. Dotted spots on the glass from a covering white head. Clear golden. Aroma of herbal hops and grainy malts. Flavoured with grapefruit and subdued malty sweetness beneath. Mid-dry bitter ending. Session qualities alright. (Halifax 03.07.2018).

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Very hazy, pale gold. Thick and frothy, lasting, off white head. Nose has wafer biscuit malts. Lemon zest. Some peach. Taste is a little sweet, with a punchy, mineraly bitterness. Clean mouthfeel. Light to medium body. Soft carbonation. Citrus bitterness lingers on the finish.

Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. Dense suds of lasting, white head. Nose has, out of all those hops, Sorachi in spades. Creamy coconut dessert with a helping of lime jelly. Notes of spicy malt. Some mandarin. Taste is mostly citrusy bitter, with a light, grain sweetness. Light body. Soft carbonation. Quite drying. As with most Blue Bee pale beers, the finish is long and punchy bitter.

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Clear, dark cola brown. Dense and lasting, thick, light tan head. Nose has dark chocolate. Cocoa powder. Hint of coffee beans. Taste is a decent mix of roast malt bitterness and dark chocolate sweetness. Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Feels a little astringent. Long ladder, roast bitter finish. Ok. The coconut is nowhere to be seen, though.

Hand-pulled half-pint (cask) on 2nd May 2018, at The Station Hotel, Oakengates, Shropshire. Not had any other versions of this, but on the pump clip there was a list of the five hops that made this and I didn't make a note of them, Chinnock was one though, I remember that. More citrus aroma and flavour giving hops must have also been on this golden brew because that was the nose and taste I got, citrus.

Cask @ Ashton Arms, Oldham. Clear golden-blonde with a creamy head. It's hoppy with a sugary nose with a fair strength about it.

Cask @ Tapster's Promise, Colne. Golden with a small head. Hoppy with citrus evident and a high bitterness to its finish. There's sweetened tropical fruits here too, especially in its nose.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Clear blonde with a creamy head. It's a hoppy ale, easy drinking but a tad watery.
