Can. Unclear amber with a white head. Breezy citrus and light breadcrust aroma. Some depth on the light palate. Not very sweet with breadcrst and some grilled peach, oranges. A touch of resin towards the fairly bitter finish. Lovely balance. Quite complex and eminently drinkable. Straight to the poolroom.

An impressive imperial stout with chocolate, caramel, milk and aniseed. There's a reasonable grapefruit bitterness on the tongue that balances that alcohol as it slides down the back of the throat. Good balance, good length. A very nice sipper on a cold night.

(Can) Pours cloudy (and I left plenty of sediment in the can) amber with small white head. Restrained pleasant fruity piney aroma. Nice palate - medium body with great carbonation. Nice hoppy IPA. Some tangy fruit at start but quiet restrained. Nice biscuit malt with peppery hoppy bitterness build in the mid palate with that peppery hoppy bitterness staying on for a long finish. Very drinkable.

Jeepers this is big. Heaps of aniseed, raisins, chocolate, cream and a little coffee and burnt toast. Plenty of alcohol, but it's the cream and chocolate that linger, leaving a beautiful aftertaste.

From a 375ml can on 1/9/2019 (can says refrences 2019, ABV 12% rather than 11.7%). Pours a deep brown with little head. Smells of chocolate, licorice, molasses, with a touch of booze. The flavours are roasty and charred malt with a decent dash of choc and caramel sweetness. There's also brown sugar, treacle and more licorice, finishing with a quite roasty, slightly burnt bitterness. A bit boozy but still very drinkable for the size. The palate is thick and a touch oily, thr carbonation a little more lively than typical for the style. Not super exciting or revolutionary, but a pretty solid fireside sipper.

(Can) Pours black with tiny tan head. Aroma of chocolate, raisins, alcohol, hints of toast. Great palate - full bodied, smooth, creamy, slightly sticky with moderate bright carbonation. Wow the taste is distinctive, and great, and doesn’t fit my conception of a stout. It has to be said that the alcohol is not subtly hidden away, it’s a prominent part of the flavour, but in a good, exciting way. There’s raisins and toffee sweetness in the start and mid palate with chocolate and orange notes developing and then some pleasant bitterness. Very impressive, and very (dangerously) drinkable.

Can. Pale orange with a white head. Mildly funky wheaty aroma with old oranges and some mango. Both citrus and sourness are more upfront on the palate than suggested by the aroma. Some passionfruit as well as mango. Finish is dry and moderately bitter. Refreshing. Can certainly see why this one is going well.

(Can) Pours cloudy amber with reasonable white head. Lovely aroma of pine and tropical fruit. Medium body, well carbonated. Great taste, lovely balance. There’s fruity tang at the start, nice biscuit malt, some peppery notes in the mid palate, and some great hoppy bitterness in the finish. Great beer.

(Can) Pours Slightly hazy pale gold, with no head. Nice aroma - pine and citrus. Light body, well carbonated. Taste is mainly pleasant fruity tartness - grapefruit, lemon, pineapple. There’s the faintest hints of bready malt and some yogurty yeast. Pleasant, refreshing, but rather one dimensional.
