9/10/2022. Can from BWS Casey Central, Narre Warren. Half price check-out display offer bb 30/10/2022. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of passion fruit, lemon, sour mango, lime, pomelo. Moderate sweetness and medium sour. Moderate body, slightly watery and oily, quite fizzy. Nice tart finish. No frills but enjoyable sour.

I nice beer but not quite a great one. Aromas of chocolate, cream, spice and peat. The pine and grapefruit in the mouth do more to undermine the sweet stout flavours than to balance them.

(Can) Pours clear pale amber with small white head. Pleasant subtle aroma of fresh bread with hints of candy and flowers. Light body with plenty of somewhat fizzy carbonation. Subtle pleasant flavour with some gentle peppery bitterness over some bready malt. Easy drinking.

Can. Deep gold. Pine needle nose. Much sweeter than I expected. Plays off ok against resin, but a bit more bitterness would delight.

Can, cellared for about 20 months. Still a big, big beer. Dark as night. Raisins, coffee and toffee on nose. A party of such flavours with some chocolate and booze aplenty. Lovely lingering notes too. Glad I have a couple of more of these stashed away.

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of tropical fruits, hops, straw, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Can. Unclear amber with a white head. Breezy citrus and light breadcrust aroma. Some depth on the light palate. Not very sweet with breadcrst and some grilled peach, oranges. A touch of resin towards the fairly bitter finish. Lovely balance. Quite complex and eminently drinkable. Straight to the poolroom.
