Description
Three Brothers Brewing Company is the vision of Kit Dodd, to start up and run a microbrewery in his home town of Eaglescliffe, County Durham. After brewing for 5 years, Kit decided the time was right to step out and make his vision a reality. Along with his older brother Dave and brother in law Chris, they turned an empty shell industrial unit into a modern and efficient brewery, capable of producing 16000 pints per week.
What makes Three Brothers Brewing Company different? Many breweries have the ability to make great craft beer, some can make a variety of great beers but with a small pilot plant we have ability to trial and perfect our recipes to ensure we only supply our very best. Add in Kit’s chemical engineering degree and our extensive range of quality control equipment, we can ensure the consistency and quality of our beers remain at the highest standard.
It is the blend of passion, experience, innovation and style that makes the beer we produce competitively tasty, refreshingly different and always of the highest quality.

I prefer my cherry on a Bakewell tart, however this not quite black brew is flavoursome, but most notable for its milky texture. The cherry flavours are not stated but are dominant. Not a traditional stout but would recommend.

York Beer Festival 2025, Beer#5. Fruity seasonal, with underlying understated tropical notes behind a hoppiness.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Hazy/waxy dark gold. Thinnest foamy white head. Aroma has low key fruit. Stone fruit and light syrupy sweetness. A prickle of hops. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Pondwater chocolate brown. Foamy off-white head soon recedes. Aroma has chocolate and hazelnut - praline. Flavourwise it has the praline plus added berries. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent.
