Fruit tang smooth finish. Good. And that puts me on schedule to finish the Ale Trail with Dan W. in a bit.

On keg at Fell Bar in Penrith - opaque yellow body with a thin white top. Lots of juicy citrus notes, good aftertaste, tropical hop characters that made it all the more easy going.

Decent, but not enough of the piney, hop bitterness for me.

440ml can at 8.4%. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, big coffee. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, liquorice, spicy coffee, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation and an oily mouthfeel.

16/8/2025. Can. Pours close to black with a creamy beige head. Great looking beer. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, tropical fruits, hint of liquorice, chocolate custard, some light spiced rummy woody notes. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Some warming spiciness. Good body. Well done.

Can on Accra Beach, Barbados, 10th August 25. Pours yellow and hazy. Aroma is vanilla. Taste is sweet, vanilla, aromatic. It’s too sweet for me, a birthday gift, not something I would choose
