Description
WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS
We started trial brewing on a home brew kit back in early 2009 when the country was in the depths of the recession, which is partly how the name Brightside arose. That and the fact that we also like The Killers!
These days we’re an established name in Manchester, with a reputation for quality consistency and service. Our beers can be found in many of the free of tie pubs and bars in the city, out towards Crewe and Chester in the South, through the Wirral, and up to Preston in the North (in fact, across much of the UK by way of swapped casks with partner breweries and wholesalers).

Keg @ D'Ale House, Rochdale. Cloudy and dirty golden looking for it, but with a nice creamy head. Hoppy and juicy in equal measure, with the former providing some dryness, and the latter plenty of citrus and tropical fruit flavours.

Cask @ Paramount, Manchester. Copper-amber with a creamy head. Crisp fuller-tasting hoppy beer at its maltiest in its nose, some bitterness in taste, and a good mouthfeel.

Cask at Architect, Chester. Pours a pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. There’s some vague floral hops in the aroma, and these come through much more in the mouth. Along with grains and hints of lemon and citrus. It starts as slightly sweet and then becomes slightly bitter – more so in the finish. This is a decent nicely balanced pale.
