16 oz can. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, cracker malt. Taste shows a bold amount of grapefruit, orange and tangerine to go along with a steady amount of pine. No obnoxious resin. The fruit still gives it a big juicy character. Nice.

Can shared by Steve. Opaque, inky black, nice viscosity, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong, roasted coffee, chocolate (like Dunkin' Donuts coffee and/or chocolate cruller). Taste resembles aroma with strong, sweet coffee, chocolate and late maple. Smooth, thick texture, full bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. No sign of alcohol--danger, Will Robinson! This is really delicious. Sweet, without being cloying. I really hope they put this year's version in a barrel to try! Take something great and make it even better!

Pours very hazy pale yellow with a lingering white head and lacing. Smells of tropical fruit, peaches, and booze. Flavor is moderately bitter, malty, and citrusy with some pine coming through in the finish. Full bodied.

Can (8/14/25) from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Cloudy pale yellow, tons of sparkle, large head with good retention and clumps of soapy lacing. Aroma is white grape, white wine, berry, mild citrus, yeast, an almost peppery spiciness. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, slightly thin, texture, soft carbonation and dry, chalky, finish as taste. Good strength of both aroma and flavor of nice grapey, vinous Nelson. A little thin.

Undated can from the brewery, as pictured, drunk 11/6/25.
Mildly hazy, but with a frothy head. Wish I knew the date on this, but there's a clear, non-date code on the bottom and no date where their cans usually have one. Weird.
Very yeasty as their beers are, though it's not anything out-of-the-ordinary if you are a fan of the NEIPA movement. More WC slanted hops give wood, dry citrus and unripe stone fruit. Does seem a bit over-the-hill...but it's clean and the malts are nicely present and dry.
Soft and malty with biscuit and honey with white bread. Hops a bit slight here, but there's a bit of spice and pepper with unripe stone fruit and unripe citrus. Still a clean beer, but I wish they would date each and every one of their IPAs. Also I bought this from the brewery cooler 2 weeks ago....
