Description
Prime Time started when best mates Harvey Armstrong and Sam Holmes found themselves in a conflicting love triangle. On one side, their passion for great tasting beer and good times. On the other, their commitment to staying fit and leading a balanced lifestyle. Something had to give.
But instead of choosing, they decided to change the game. With one mission in mind - brewing beer for the better you. Prime Time was born.

Can at home, from Waitrose online, 07/12/24. Pale golden blonde with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Better start than the SIPA that gushed! Nose is pale malts, hedgerow, herb, toasted grains. Taste comprises toasted grains, cereals, faint citric nip, biscuit, straw, light bready elements. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Okay for the style.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Little Waitrose near work. Pours clear, pale gold with a slight, creamy white head. Light sweet flavour with bland pale bread, biscuits, faint bitter straw, a little white bread crust, pale grains. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly clean to finish, more simple malts, crusty white bread, sweet pale grains. Little to it but it’s drinkable.

Can at home, from Waitrose online thanks to Sharon, 25/11/24. Can gushed ... FFS ... not what you expect from a 4.2% pale that's been sat in the fridge a few weeks! Golden pour topped with an off white head that thins to a swirl. Nose is mellow citric peel, grass, herb, toasted grains. Taste comprises bitter orange, hay bale, straw, light vegetal strains, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness. Not great ... businessman 1 says ... lets make some beer for the supermarket level ... businessman 2 says ... yes ... lets go to Hepworth for this purpose ... #Fuckwits.

Can from Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma low key vinous and citrus notes. Grainy edge. Clear amber gold. Thin translucent white head pretty much disappears. Medium-heavy bitter. Initial resin. More low key citrus. And underlying veg soup. Makes me think of AF beer. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Does have dose of resinous bitterness but still manages to be a damp squib.4.2% that tastes like 0.2%.
