Description
Prime Time started when best mates Harvey Armstrong and Sam Holmes found themselves in a conflicting love triangle. On one side, their passion for great tasting beer and good times. On the other, their commitment to staying fit and leading a balanced lifestyle. Something had to give.
But instead of choosing, they decided to change the game. With one mission in mind - brewing beer for the better you. Prime Time was born.

Beers brewed at Hepworth.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#47. Drank with lunch at Carisbrooke Castle. Nice easy one to go with my food. Gentle hoppy character. You can taste the carbonation though.

Can on 13th April 2025 from HOP Waitrose via Deliveroo. Pours clear amber with shallow, collapsing whitish foam and spot lacing. Malts and tangy fruits in aroma. Richly fruity in-mouth with tropical and citrus fruits. A nutty and citrusy finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Keg at Megan's, Weybridge. Aroma is malty. Slightly metallic and slightly citrusy. Slightly opaque gold. Thin translucent white head. Sweet and malty. A citrus edge. Slightly metallic. A kinda residual rice flavour. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Chalky. Flat carbonation. Long dry ever so slightly astringent finish. OK. More of a Helles but a tad odd flavour and texture wise.

330ml can from Waitrose, Solihull. Clear gold, small white head, modest retention. Aroma has a light citric lemon with fusty earthy pine but not vibrant. Taste of cardboard like malt, marmalade, earthy sweet pine but has a staleness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation that fades over time. Quite poor for the style.

Can at home picked up from Waitrose. A clear golden yellow coloured pour wioth a small loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty, apple esters, light tang, buttered bread, classic lager notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, some green apple, light asparin bite, mineral, spicy finish. Palate is semi sweeet, light tang, bite in the finish, moderate carbonation. bit of a gimmick.
