2011-06-25, bottle from the restaurant/brauerei, 7-5-7-3-15=37
Hazy golden color; giant head. Delicate aroma, fruity (apricots), with notes of old wood and some notes from the Sherry. Sweetish flavor, malt, lighty fruity and woody touch, low to medium bitterness. The oak aging works well with this beer.

2011-06-23, bottle at the restaurant/brauerei, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Beautiful golden to light amber color, hazy, with a fine perlage; medium sized compact head. The aroma is initially fruity, almost like cooking a jam, then some vanilla notes from the barrel appear. Correct body strength; like the other beers, there is a good malt presence, immediately compounded by the jam, and by the strong alcohol too; correct bitterness. Very good.

Draught at the restaurant/brauerei
Dark brown color; beige creamy head. The aroma is light; some roasted malt, caramel, but also very light sourness. The body is lean, the mouthfeel quite round; good flavor of caramel, malt, and some roasted malt; the dryness or ashy character of Stouts is kept at bay, while there is an underlying pleasing sweetness; the final gets just a bit drier and with a bit more of roasted malts; there is a light fruitiness in here too, giving a fresh impression, and a vague nutty character.
Very pleasant.
