Keg @ Lamb & Flag, Leeds. Golden lager with a thin head. Crisp and clean, but never too exciting. Malty nose.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - opaque black with a nice fawn head. Nose - ginger biscuits with light caramel. Taste - more caramel and ginger biscuits. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a dry biscuity finish. Overall - I think one point is the right amount, it’s interesting and tasty but the ginger builds and by the end of the pint you’ve had enough of it.

Cask at the Kingston Arms. Very dark black, thick. Not much head. The ginger is subtle, mixing with other notes such as coffee and stone fruit. Perfectly judged taste. It’s sweet with a hoppy bitter finish, and the spicy ginger floats on top. Lingering ginger after the sip, although the aftertaste is slightly acrid. Really yummy.

Tried at the Threehorseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with a white creamy head. After the last beer it had a very light aroma and taste, but citrus and floral aromas were there. Taste citrus bittersweet.

Tap at RJ. Moderate to light high bitterness, assertive hops flavour, grassy, zesty. Dry, no obtrusive maltiness, hops centered. Very easy drinking, refreshing.
