Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, yeasty, earthy, light woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Golden-amber with an off-white head. Sweetish start with some floral notes, bubblegum and strawberry jam. More traditional notes of caramel and citrus come through, but it still tastes quite fresh and lively. A little more interesting than your average bitter. Nice one.
