330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, July 15. Backlog catchup. Pours clear amber, minimal off-white head. Strong boozy whisky aroma. Taste is lots of peat, oak, soil, huge overpowering Islay influence, some off-putting phenolics. Powerful.

12oz bottle pours a clear copper with zero head. Nose is huge with salty, smokey notes. Some honey and nougat, but mostly just huge Islay cask. Flavor follows, just peaty, salty whiskey, a splash of honey. Just way too overdone, there’s no beer character.
