First beers seen from the Y Bragdy Mws Piws / Purple Moose Brewery were at Worcester Beer Festival in August 2002. They were brewed at Moor. The brewery first brewed 14th June 2005 following the acquisition of a new site and a 10BBL plant formerly in use at Harviestoun. Expanded again in 2013 to a 40BBL plant.

30th April 2008. Smooth lightly toasted malt with a silky middle and a stab of fruitiness and hoppyness. Unusual and very drinkable.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Golden color, small white head. Cat pee fruity hopp, sweetish aroma. Light lime hops, lingering light citrusy aftertaste. Probably good with food, but otherwise a bit too watery for my liking.

Cask@GBBF2009. Yellowish golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral hops, bready malts, some dough as well as grass. Flavour is quite much the same in a rather earthy finish.

Bottle. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a roasted malty caramel finish. with some hints of chocolate in te aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty slightly yeasty aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish fruity malty and slightly yeasty flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Golden with a soft cream head; clean citrus aroma; fruity orange malt flavours; deep grapefruit bitterness to finish. An excellent, full flavoured, summer beer.

Cask gravity at 1st K&ES Railway BF 2009. Gold/copper colour with lasting beige head. Good condition. Somme toffee, some hedgerow hop. Very hedgerow-y herby hop. Some blackcurrant. Really herby Yes herby blackcurrant, I guessed at Willamette hops, but it could be the Lubelski. Decent
