Roast, mocha and light nut. Black pour with no head--for an Irish start you'd hope for more. Bitter finish, decent balance. Nice and roasty. Tap at brewery.

Not often that purveyors of haze can produce a good West Coaster. But this one definitely qualifies. Golden amber pour with OK head. Bitter ass finish, good body. Tap at brewery.

Vanilla and marshmallow vibe is kind of novel, but at the same time it takes away from the basic drinkability you'd hope for from a Schwarzy. Black pour with OK head. Light sweet finish with a little roast. Tap at brewery.

16oz can pours a pulpy purple, no head. Nose is heavy with berries and vanilla, sherbet, some fruit roll up. Flavor follows, more like a berry cobbler, some oat is there, big vanilla. It's what you think and it's done reasonably well. Full bodied, sweet.
