Shared can at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Roasty aroma and flavour, with dominant coffee throughout. The jury was out on this one - some thought the coffee was just a bit too much, while others found it allright.

440ml can provided by Finn. Shared with him and Leif. Almost black in the glass, tiny beige head leaving spotty lacing on the glassware. Inviting roasted malty aromas, mid-dry. Earthy chocolate flavours, hints of caramel as well. Mid-sweet chocolate malty ending, lightly smoked, and maybe a distant note of bourbon. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 04.02.2026).

Not sure why it's not rated higher but this is a rich, chocolatey decadent milk stout that punches higher than the 5.5 ABV.

Gul tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter grapefrukt noe svovel og stenfrukt,. Fruktig, sur lite bitter. Smaker stenfrukt, salt og sitrus. Kort.

Le fumé domine les arômes tout en offrant une légère place à l’adjuvant ananas.
La base de blé est également présente et en soutient.
Le liquide est doré et assez limpide.
La mousse pétillante descend rapidement.
En bouche, le côté acidulé est moyennement prononcé mais demeure équilibré par rapport au fumé.
Les saveurs d’ananas demeurent moyennement faibles et s’accompagnent d’accents citronnés.
La base maltée de blé est présente mais pas autant qu’au nez.
Elle donne des notes céréalières de pain et soutient le fumé pour l’adoucir légèrement.
La carbonatation est un peu trop douce pour le style.
Assez complexe, cette bière ressemble à une Berliner Weisse plus douce et plus fruitée, en équilibre avec un fumé modéré et plaisant.
On aurait cependant désiré une plus forte impression de l’adjuvant (ananas).

A hazed milky yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light tropical fruits, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Chambly 2025.

0,473 boks fra VP Verksgata, på hyttetur i Ilsvåg: uklar gylden med forbilledlig skum som varer lenge. Barskog, gress, urter, bitter appelsinmarmelade, aprikos og lynghonning. Solid maltkropp og godt balanserende bitterhet kompletterer nytelsen, og et nytt bryggeri for meg pynter jo alltid på statistikken.
