Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, very dark chestnut brown. Thin and dense, super sticky, lasting beige head. Nose has vine fruit. Bit of a nutmeg and cinnamon vibe. Hint of fruity coffee bean. Taste has vine fruit bitterness. Fairly dry. Smooth mouthfeel with fine carbonation. Drinks way easy at the ABV. More vine fruit, and spicy bitterness to finish. Bit weird, but fairly enjoyable.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazed straw colour. Messy white foam. Nose has sweet biscuit. Cracker. Light floral hop. Taste is pretty dry and lightly bitter. Light bodied with fine carbonation. A tad thin overall. Light dry finish. Ok.

Bottle. No idea where from. BBD April 21. Fridge dweller reached for after a midnight finish and a week off the ale. Seemed a sensible choice. Anyhoo. Dark brown pour sits black in the glass with a very decent, thin and creamy, lasting, lacing beige head. Nose has ashy roast malt. Festive cake mix. Pontefract cakes. Some vinous twang. Taste is similarly twangy, with enough roast malt reigning it in. Barely a hint of sweetness. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. Some acidity. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Lingering twang of bitterness to finish. Good, but I should have cracked this ages ago.
