Manchester Beer Festival 2019. Amber in colour with its mulled styling very evident, but the saison is evident too. It's nothing groundbreaking though.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Hazy dark brown beer, no real head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fruity dark malts. Whisper of esters. Oysters? More tang! Little fruity dark chocolate. Tasty enough.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - London. Day 1. Pours clear town with a small foamy topping. A bit tangy, some dried berries, old leather, earth. Meisum bodied, soft; not the best condition. Light warmth in the finish, more tangy leathery berries. Not the best.
