Draft at Settle Down Easy Brewing Co. Poured a kind of bronze orange color, perhaps not that dark to be fair. Small, solid white head. Aroma was light lemon peel, sea breeze. Some light juicy notes, solid, prototypical gose. Really good stuff.

A little bit of hops and some pine. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. Not much here, but easy drinking without faults. Tap at brewery.

Can: Green chili pepper nose. Clear copper, medium head with poor retention. Bready malt, slightly tinny with the flavor of chili peppers. Medium body, soft carbonation no heat. Good for the people who like milder chilies.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall light brown head that stays afloat for quite a while, but has large bubbles. Aroma of roasted malt, oatmeal, nuts, earth, coffee and a small dose of liquid smoke. Medium-bodied; Quite dry flavour at first with a heavy hand of earth, malt, nuts, grain, oatmeal and a lot of bitterness from hops - very nice towards the end with a good robust and rounded flavour that shows a lot of effervescence as well, but the hops dominate, in a very good way! Aftertaste shows the robust malt flavours with oatmeal, peat, earth, nuts, caramelised sugars, coffee, light chocolate and somehow - a good deal of hops which kind of overwpower the matls. Overall, a very nice and robust beer that has a lot of carbonation, yet a proper balance, especially for a porter versus a stout, and shows the complex malt notes throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from the brewpub itself in Merrifield, Virginia on 23-January-2019 by my hockey teammate, which was poured/canned while you wait, as a six-pack [albeit evidently quite expensive], sampled at home in Washington on 09-April-2019 - Thanks Jacob!

Draft pour at Settle Down Easy. Poured a clear orange color with a small, white head. Aroma was nice tropical fruits, some pine notes. Flavor was tropical fruit, pineapple, some pine resin, but not a whole lot. Mild and easy to drink with a little bit of hop leaf bitterness in the finish.

Draft pour at Settle Down Easy. Poured a slightly cloudy yellow-orange color with a small, creamy white head. Aroma was some nice funky hop notes, citrus, some tropical fruit. Yeasty funky saison notes. This was pretty pleasant to drink.
