Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, dark, chestnut brown. Filmy, but lasting, pale tan head. Dried fruit. Coffee beans. Light, dark chocolate. Taste is dry as a bone. Very ashy. Lots of harsh, bitter tartness. Palate feels thin. Finish is tart, dry and harsh bitter. The only beer Iโ€™ve had from this brewer that I wouldnโ€™t have again. It lives by the coffee, then dies by it, too. Brew this with quality coffee, as opposed to this coffee, and it might have been good...

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Lightly hazy, amber colour. Sticky, lasting, off white head. A bit of a looker. Ripe, bloomy, orange. Citric peel. Light toffee. Hint of mint, maybe. Plenty going on. Taste is pithy, zesty, crunchy bitter. Palate has chew and freshness. A satisfying oiliness, too. Finish is long, choppy, greasy, piny bitter. Very good, in other words.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy, orange squash colour. Thin, and bubbly, sticky, lasting, white head. Ripe, slightly fusty mandarin. Pink grapefruit. Lime juice. Damp, sweet malt in there, too. Soft carbonation seems to complement the fustiness going on. (Iโ€™m not averse to the fusty thing. It sits well). Taste is fresh, zesty, big pithy bitterness. Light dryness, too. Long, pithy bitter finish. Tasty beer. Like this brewer a lot.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, gold colour. Plenty of fine, lively bubbles help keep alive a thin, tight, lasting, white head. Fresh as a daisy aromas of lemon, watermelon and pink grapefruit. Light, biscuit malt in the background. Taste is light bitter and crunchy dry. Lively, zesty palate. Finish is light bitter and light dry. Quality session beer.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, light amber colour. Thin, tight, sticky, off white head. Big, tropical fruit juiciness. A little ripe banana. Light herbiness. Taste is sweet toffee. Surprisingly light bitterness. Creamy, smooth, light dry palate. Finish is long, pithy bitterness. Iโ€™m a fan of this brewer, so I maybe expected more than I got with this one. Still pretty good, mind you.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, orangey amber. Film of sticky, white head. Sweet malt. Sweet peach. A little orange zest. Taste is fairly bitter, lightly dry, with an underlying, red fruit sweetness. Well suited, soft carbonation emphasises a little chewiness on the palate. Long, dry and bitter finish. Easy drinking.

Clear, copper colour. Thin, sticky, off white head. Straight away, this feels like a big beer. Chewy sweetness. Tinned grapefruit bitterness. Oily, thick, chewy palate. Finish starts out toffee sweet, then an almost medicinal bitterness kicks in. Big, daft, dirty, delicious beer. I can feel the hairs on my chest growing as I drink this...

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy orange colour. Thin, broken, white head. Sweet malt. Tangerine. Orange zest. Lime. Mineral. Taste is mineral dry. Grapefruit bitterness stars gentle and builds. Crisp, zesty palate. Finish is light, but lingering bitter. Very clean tasting, fresh, drink all day kind of beer. Punches well above itโ€™s weight.

Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Vibrantly fruity hops - fresh orange with lesser yellow grapefruut and tangerine. Underneath is mildly sweet malt. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Another cracker from this brewpub.
