Tap at Drygate 21.4.24. Light hazy amber, offwhite head. Light honey malt, slightly flat, yet creamy, Medium body, chewy malt, flowery hops, pleasant herbal, heather, quick cookie finish. Not sure I would have pegged it as a lager blindly.

440ml can from Sainsbury's in London. Head is
F: medium, white, good retention.
C: gold, clear.
A: mango, peach, yellow berries.
T: medium malty base, light bready, nice hoppy, not so mango as I expected from aroma but it is ok, nice balanced long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, nice beer, enjoyed.

Can, gift from Mum. Hazy deep golden body with an off-white head that holds well. Faint lacing. Aroma of Jelly Babies and mango puree. Flavour of mango chutney and tinned orange. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Very bright and tasty. Much better than I thought it might be. Pleased to see no lactose in it too.

Tap at Drygate, hazy pale golden, white foam. Apple juice, citruspeel, coriander notes, chewy dry, light mealy, a bit too fruitsaladdy for me.

A stout blended with a Chinese smoked tea! Classic idea! Tastes like a very Scottish stout, unassumingly.

A Heather lager! Heather was traditionally used in Scottish beers and this is the first I've seen in Scotland. (I've had the Williams Heather Ale before but haven't actually seen it yet in Scotland). Left
