16 oz. can, date stamped 11/07/23. Pours more brown than expected. Thin and disappearing tan foam. Strong smell of Graham crackers just from the pour. Grahams continue in the taste, and marshmallow comes up after the first sip. Slight burn of alcohol helps, but it gets a little scratchy at the back of my throat. Thick texture is a nice complement.

On tap at 7th Ghetto Something anniversary. Pours cloudy almost black color with thin creamy light brown head and fair lacing. It’s boozy, moderate sweet but rich roasted malty with chocolate and vanilla notes, following is nutty, earthy, spicy and warming. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Brutal dessert…

16oz can at Smashed Plastic. That kind of old school shabby blonde brewpub offering they call Kolsch more than a true Cologne offering. Sweet, lacks and real hop balance. Not that impressive at all.

Thanks fonefan! Pitch black colour, minor head. Aroma is medicinal, alcohol and some rather peated tones. Peated smoky and some meaty tones with mild alcohol and some medicinal tones too. Brutal.

16oz can. Pretty legit hoppy red. Deep malt tones, rich and lovely as the deepest Irish Red. Has a nice hop balance, modern feel, but nothing too intense. Overall a really well balanced, enjoyable beer.

16 oz can from the Dojo. Surprising golden pour like a regular beer, but with some visible particles. Smell offers coconut and bitter roasted coffee. Fizzy dwindling foam. It the horchata the comes up first in the taste, Coffee doesn't show up on the palate. A bit of an improvement over their regular Horchata Ale. And there's the coffee, coming up on the side. The horchata character stays consistent, with coconut probably needed to keep it from getting overwhelming.
